Atlantic Union College (AUC), in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy, offer certificates in Cisco Networking and in Cisco Security. These certificates provide comprehensive training in Networking and Security, including preparation for industry standard certifications from CompTIA and Cisco organizations.
The certificate in Cisco Networking is a two-semester program that is an excellent starting point for a successful career in Networking. Students will learn the skills necessary to support IT infrastructure including how to install, troubleshoot, and operate basic networking systems. The program prepares the student for the CompTIA A+ and the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification exams.
The certificate in Cisco Security is a one-semester program that trains students to have the skills necessary to design, implement, and support security for networked devices. The program prepares the student for the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) Security certification exam.
Courses are taught by a Cisco trained instructor and are designed to be in-class lecture using Cisco Networking Academy LMS system and having hands on experience with Cisco equipment.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certification covers the knowledge and skills required to secure Cisco networks. With the CCNA Security certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats.
