Assessment

The Department of Health Sciences/Biology requires all bachelor’s degree seniors to pass the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Major Field Test in Biology during their final semester. This test gives our department national comparative data, and allows the following: (1) the measurement of students' academic achievements, (2) assess educational outcomes in Biology, and (3) evaluate course offerings and program requirements. Each year all of the department students take an in-house assessment test.
